October Odyssey!
IT’S FALL Y'ALL!! In our house, October is a month marked by cooler weather, football games, imagination, sweet treats, and let’s not forget, pumpkin everything! There’s pumpkin lattes, pumpkin cereal, pumpkin laundry detergent, and the ever classic pumpkin patch.
Beyond uniquely flavored drinks, our DFW Metroplex offers an endless supply of family fun. As your friends, we encourage you to set aside your weekends, gather those you love and explore the many fall activities available to us as North Texans. If you’re not sure where to start, allow me to offer some of our favorites as inspiration!
- Visit “Big Tex” at the state fair
- Select a pumpkin at a local pumpkin patch
- Hit up a local football game
- Go apple picking at an orchard
- Family biking, hiking and park days
- Brainstorm family costume ideas
- For the truly fearless, visit a haunted house
No matter how you choose to spend your October weekends, remember to end each fun-filled day together wrapped in a blanket holding a warm cup of cocoa, with pumpkin cold foam of course.
