August-ly Amazing!
For all the teachers who inspire world changers:
What Is a Teacher?
What is a teacher? What do they do?
They help little me’s grow into big you’s!
They welcome you in with a big, happy grin,
And say, “Come on in! Let the learning begin!”
They teach you to read and to write your own name,
To count up to ten, and to play fair in games.
But teachers do more than just show you the way
They cheer when you’re brave and they help when you stray.
They give you a hand when the puzzle feels tough,
And whisper, “You’ve got this,” when learning feels rough.
They spot every question, each wonder and why,
And help you reach higher, like birds in the sky.
They notice your talents, your sparkle, your style,
And love who you are every step, every mile.
So what is a teacher? They’re sunshine and glue
They help build the future with children like you!
As the new year begins, give a wave and a cheer
For teachers with hearts full of kindness and care!
