Oh, Say Can You July!
Throughout July we will see fireworks crackle in brilliant bursts of color, echoing the joy we felt as children, while cookouts bring us together with neighbors, family, and friends. There’s something timeless in these traditions that calls us to the same tables, the same skies, and the same shared sense of wonder.
The story of fireworks began centuries ago, when they were used for both battle and celebration. Over time, they evolved into dazzling displays of artistry and innovation, becoming a centerpiece of celebrations around the world. In Texas, the meaning deepens, marking Independence Day and reminding us of the courage, sacrifice, and unity that shaped our nation. As July passes, we celebrate National Friendship Day; a quieter but equally powerful reminder that freedom and connection are most meaningful when shared with others.
As we celebrate both our independence and friendships, take a moment to recognize how deeply intertwined they truly are. And from my heart to yours, thank you for being part of our journey.
Your friendship means more than words can say!
