Let the June Times Roll!
June has always held a special kind of warmth. Welcoming longer summer days, the warmth of June for me, and maybe for you, comes in the form of a father’s love.
Fathers come in many forms. Some are stoic, their love measured in actions. Early morning rides to school, the tireless fixing of things, the unspoken presence that says, “I’m here.” Others are warm and expressive. Storytellers, encouragers, the ones who never missed a game or recital. Then there are the father figures who stepped in and showed us what care and strength can look like. Whichever version you’ve known, June gives us a chance to pause, to reflect, and to say thank you.
So this Father’s Day, I say thank you to my Dad. Thank you for the quiet sacrifices, the times you offered comfort when I cried, for cheering loud from the sidelines, but most importantly, showing me what kind of man I should look for in a husband and father to my own children. You never ask, but you deeply deserve to hear, you’re a great father!
