Thanks-Give-vember!
November immediately sparks thoughts of turkey dinners and side dishes galore. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving or both, you will soon experience the warmth and power of gratitude.
Recently our family had the opportunity to deepen our appreciation of gratitude. My husband Brian recently spent an arduous 37 days in the hospital. We have always strived to live a life of gratitude so that when challenges come, we see them through a lens of thankfulness. We are grateful for family and friends who loved and encouraged us, grateful for a community of clients that cared for us and grateful for professionals who never gave up! I learned that being grateful is a response we develop. We become increasingly more open to love and blessings, and our compassion for others deepens. Suffering takes us through a process that, if we choose, can build our perseverance, character and hope.
Make the choice to live in gratitude by seeing the love others offer, because through the lens of thankfulness, you see miracles!
We love you all. Happy Season of Thanksgiving!
