Remember Remember the Fall of September!
Fall is a time when the days begin to shorten and the crisp smell of fall fills the air. As Texans, the color changing of leaves and cool autumn breezes may be foreign to us, but even still, September marks the beginning of a new season and new celebrations.
Begin your month by honoring the most cherished members of your family tree, your grandparents! Grandparents Day, a day set apart to celebrate the wisdom and love of those who have walked before us. Their stories and prayers are the roots that ground us, the foundation upon which we build our lives.
As I watch my children live life with their grandparents I see how they learn love, gratitude, and faith from the actions of my parents, Beth and Jack. Each day I’m reminded of the special relationship that grandparents freely offer. I encourage you to take time to honor and celebrate the grandparents in your life with your words and actions. Show appreciation through your time, care, and love remembering that like fall leaves, beauty if found with the passing of time.
Happy Grandparents Day,
Amy, Dean and Cora
Congratulations to our August homeowners!
