Augustly Awesome!
August is a season filled with new expectations for families; as they find their first day of school outfit, meet new teachers, and for some, say goodbye as the college years begin. The nervous excitement that comes with the first day of school brings new dreams, friendships, and adventures for both parents and students.
As a former teacher, I endeavored to encourage and uplift each student. It was a privilege to see their unique talents and abilities blossom each year. In my classroom, my guiding principle read, “Encourage one another and build each other up!” This simple yet powerful message produced an environment where every student felt empowered and valued.
Parents, set the stage for a successful school year by modeling encouragement with your words and actions, and teach your students how they can “build up” teachers and students alike. These small acts foster a supportive atmosphere that motivates students and teachers. Embrace the new relationships, challenges, and adventures that this season brings, and teach your children the power of kindness and encouragement.

Beth
